Located on the Landes coast in southwest France, Biscarrosse Plage is a consistent and exposed beach break, known as one of the most reliable surf spots in the region. The shifting sandbanks create multiple peaks along the shoreline, depending on swell and tide. With solid swell, the break can become powerful, producing hollow and fast sections better suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. On smaller days, the waves tend to open up and remain more accessible. As with many Landes beach breaks, strong currents and sandbars can be present.
